Picture of the South Hill Farm House where we stayed Stow on the Wold Weekend

Over the May Bank Holiday in 1999, Mummy and Daddy decided to go on a last minute weekend away (and I mean "last minute" - we left home at 16:00 on Saturday evening!).

They apparently had vague intentions of getting as far as South Wales, but by 17:30, they accepted the fact that this was perhaps a little ambitious, and so we stopped off in Stow on the Wold to try to find somewhere to stay for a couple of nights.

We had some luck at the third attempt, and ended up at the South Hill Farm House, just outside Stow centre.

Travelling with me were Mumbles, Renoir, Bean Bum, Fluppy and Molière, and you can see us all safely ensconced on the very comfortable settee, although we did let Mummy share it with us as well, even though Mummy and Daddy had a very large and comfy bed:

We also found a scrummy restaurant in Stow called Puccini, which we can highly recommend if you like Italian food!
